Founded on Hospitality
Ningma Lamu Homestay was born out of a desire to share the beauty of our village, Mungpoo, with the world. Mungpoo has always been a place of poetic inspiration—once the summer retreat of Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore.
We started with just two rooms and a dream to provide travelers with an experience that hotels simply cannot offer: the feeling of being part of a local family. Every guest who walks through our doors is treated with the same warmth we show our own kin.
